Caledonian ICT Academy offers a wide range of accredited IT training courses leading to both professional certifications and academic credit.

Part of the School of Engineering and Computing at the Glasgow Caledonian University, ICT Academy is an accredited training academy and testing centre for a number of major vendors, including Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle and Sun.

We offer both individual learners and organisations a complete training package, including online IT training through blended learning and in-class courses.

Bespoke course development

We are committed to developing partnerships that respond directly to the needs of our growing client base in the business, public and voluntary sectors.  This means that, as well as offering our suite of training courses we can also develop bespoke courses tailored to your specific requirements.

Industry certification testing

Our IT training facilities and Test Centre are located in Glasgow Caledonian University in central Glasgow.  Book online for Pearson Vue and Prometric testing for industry certification programmes.

The University ICT Academy is an accredited Cisco Regional Academy in Glasgow. We deliver Cisco training to students and Instructors, as well as supporting a number of local Cisco Networking Academies within Scotland. 

The Cisco Network Academy Programme was established by Cisco Systems to encourage the development of advanced and practical networking skills in a range of courses in students studying in schools, colleges, universities and individuals seeking professional development.

7Safe

The School of Engineering and Computing  welcomes a new strategic partnership with leading Information Security and Computer Forensics firm, 7Safe. 

The schools ICT Academy will initially deliver the 7Safe CSTA Ethical Hacking (3 day intensive/8 week evening) and CSTP Ethical Hacking courses (2 day intensive/6 week evening) starting late October.  This strategic partnership is an exciting beginning for the school and 7Safe which will lead to a unique opportunity to provide university-accredited IT Security courses by becoming 7Safe Accredited Training Partners (ATP).
